We love a good prank as much as anyone, but this guy may have taken things too far when he traded out his friend's hair gel for super glue, leading to a trip to the emergency room.

Elliot Giles was getting ready for a date when he became the victim of social media star Ben Phillips, who rose to prominence by doing similar stunts to people on Vine. "Elliot's got a date tonight and he's obviously going to do his head," Phillips says. "Super glue. Hair gel. Sorry, bro." The video documents Giles getting a hairbrush stuck to his head and the pair's drive to the hospital where nurses used a solvent to remove the glue. Giles had to fix-up his hair by getting it cut, but the moments leading up to that, if genuine, seem to be extremely painful.

Phillips was partly motivated by his friend's obsession over his hair. "Elliot's very vain," he told the Daily Mail. "I'm joking, but us lads are always doing our hair. I like doing pranks that interfere with day to day, messing with things that you don't expect to be hacked."

While not pretending-to-crash-Paris-Hilton's-plane levels of evil, we can't sanction any prank that lands someone in the hospital.
