My favorite brand names are the ones that explicitly indicate who makes them. Like DRKSHDW by Rick Owens or when a lot of people used to say Louis Vuitton by Nicolas Ghesquiere There aren't too many of these brands out there, but Creep by Hiroshi Awai is definitely one of them and S/S 16 just hit the blogosphere. Wanna be the king of the beach aesthetic? Done. The thing about having a very strong look for the beach is that you really have to go to the fucking beach and that requires lots of travel if you aren't near a body of water because cool summer bum vibes in the city or countryside just show off how much more you'd rather be somewhere else. Just something to keep in mind, fam. So, yeah, we've got florals (groundbreaking!), horizontal gondala captain stripes (very popular nowadays!) and patchwork shorts that could definitely pass off as a swimsuit (more band for your buck!). They might be super water-repellent for all I know so you can wear them straight out of the ocean and into the beach house you rented out for a weekend with fifteen people so you could get a good deal on an Airbnb that says it only houses eight.
