You still don't have a pair of Chelsea boots because you've tried to convince yourself that they're just a passing trend like any other. You may still be right about that, but so far the year of the boot has not disappointed. Whether it will endure is questionable, but it doesn't seem like they're going anywhere anytime soon. And there is no better option than these new A.P.C. Chelseas. Light brown suede is the move if the Common Projects version that lit up the season earlier this year are nowhere to be found and, frankly, you've got a better chance of catching a Mewtwo if we're being totally honest. These aren't cut quite as high as most Chelseas I've looked at—they're probably, like, half an inch lower. But that's noticeable and important if your ankles or calves are larger than average or you're working with some stumps. Wear them right out of the box and spill some summer shit all over them. The first scuff is the deepest, but they'll look better eventually.
