As part of some very retro throwback Thursday coverage, Complex Style took a look at a March 1995 edition of Vogue that compared future streetwear mecca Supreme and Chanel. The artcile went to the brands' storefronts and literally just compared the two of them. Between the store entertainment, dressing rooms, staff, customers and more, the two were surprisingly similar. Strikingly similar, in fact. The only real difference? Apparently, Chanel had cold drinks for customers, Supreme had a skate team (no shit) and the most expensive thing at Supreme was a jacket for $66 compared to Chanel's $6,410 evening pants outfit. Quantum leap complete.
