Rihanna Is Reportedly Launching Her Own Clothing Brand

Music is taking a backseat to fashion for Rihanna.

Rihanna is launching her own clothing brand called$CHOOL KILLS, Grazia reports. The singer's company, Roraj Trade, LLC, filed for a trademark of the brand's name under the clothing and leather product categories at the U.S. Patent and Trademarks Office last month.

The singer allegedly plans to start by creating an accessories line before releasing a fully blown-out collection of clothing. "$CHOOL KIlls will be an accessories range covering everything from tote bags to purses, and later on, fashion," a source told Grazia

The source also mentions that Rihanna's fashion ambitions are taking priority over her music. "She still loves the music, and it's what launched her, but this is her focus right now," the source says. While Rihanna has released two singles in the past several months, including "American Oxygen" and "Bitch Better Have My Money," she "is not limiting herself to just music and touring for the rest of her life," the source claims.

Rihanna's plans to enter the fashion world have been apparent for a while now. She was announced as Puma's creative director late last year, designed a line of clothing with River Island, and is one of the most stylish celebrities in existence—with a CFDA Fashion Icon Award to prove it.

Great news for anyone out there who was hoping to wait a little longer for the new RiRi record.
