Sale and sample sale season is upon us, friends. We should bask in the grace of stores and brands willing to pass on deals to us with such generosity and willingness. This week, Ovadia & Sons is having its regularly scheduled sample sale to offload all the pieces that didn't make it to stores, but are still 98% correct and well-assembled. There's always a few pieces that aren't up to snuff and these brands could just get rid of them or recycle the material or something. Instead, they're being passed on to us. Unfortunately, if you don't live in New York, it's a tough, unfair racket. But ring up your Internet friends and see if one of them can do a favor for you.
I've been to the O&S sample sale before. The deals are pretty fucking good and just about everything you could imagine is up for grabs from smaller stuff like ties to bigger pieces like sweaters, suiting and outerwear. The space is a small studio, so it does get cramped with everyone bent over boxes looking for shirts that fit, but that's what we've come to both expect and accept when it comes time to throw some 'bows over cheap gear. Anyway, the details are above and the sale runs tomorrow and Friday, mostly during work hours, so be sure to take a summer Friday or an extended lunch to take advantage and stock the fuck up.
