The NBA Finals are off to an exciting start, but that hasn't stopped Bleacher Report from brainstorming how it can make the action on the court a little more visually appealing. Bleacher Report has teamed up with illustrator Meagan Morrison to imagine what some of the NBA's most iconic jerseys would like if fashion designers took a stab at them.

Morrison took  "each team's culture and reputation" into consideration before matching them with a designer, BR writes. New York-based Public School is fittingly paired up with the New York Knicks—the team that both of the brand's designers are a fan of. OKC's Russell Westbrook would probably be overjoyed to hit the court in one of Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing's tribal prints. The new-school Warriors are kitted out by the equally revolutionary Hood By Air, and Dolce & Gabbana's bull design is a perfect match for Chicago.

Other pairings include the legendary Lakers franchise and Versace, Moschino and the Miami Heat, the San Antonio Spurs and Saint Laurent, and the Los Angeles Clippers with Givenchy.

Check out all the redesigned jerseys below. How do they stack up to the greatest NBA kits ever?
