Former Wisconsin forward Frank Kaminsky is having a pretty good week. Not only was he selected No. 9 overall by the Charlotte Hornets during last night’s NBA Draft, he also debuted his new menswear campaign for JCPenney. And it’s not as lame as it sounds.
As part of his new gig, Kaminsky stars in several video clips that ask the question of whether going pro has changed him. Turns out, it has. Dude now wears linen to the basketball court and proudly rocks coral, which seems to be pretty upsetting to his old friends and family. But Kaminsky doesn’t appear to be bothered by it; after all, his new job comes with some pretty decent perks, like getting a JCPenney-sponsored suit to rock during the NBA Draft, complete with two tanks sewed inside. Clearly, he's still a man of the people.
You can check out the short, but pretty funny, clips above and below.
