Nowgone Pioneers sounds like the title of some novel that you would think is all about the crumbling of the American west and the legacy of the Native American genocide, but is really about, like, a married couple going through some shit. Like, the husband is impotent and the wife is the breadwinner and that compounds his sexual frustrations and everything. But instead of just writing that out, it's full of allegorical conversations and the entire novel takes place on a car trip to their more successful friend's lake house. Wow, sorry, right, Nowgone Pioneers is actually a brand that makes this ventile crew with a drawstring waist. But the novel that could have been, amirite?
