Probably one of the most famous celebrity homes of all time, Michael Jackson's 2,700-acre Neverland Ranch near Santa Barbara, Calif. has just been added to the real estate market six years after the icon's death, but it is a very different property now. According to the Wall Street Journal, the asking price of $100 million does not include the amusement park, railroad, or wildlife that once lived on the property because they have all been taken away.

Jackson purchased the property in 1987 for a measly $19.7 million and spent millions more adding to his fantasy. He defaulted on the home in 2008 and it was purchased by an investment firm for $23 million. What remains of the massive estate are 22 buildings, two lakes, a six-bedroom main house, two guesthouses with a total of six bedrooms, a pool, basketball court, tennis court, and a 50-seat home theater with a stage outfitted with trap doors because Michael liked magic shows. There apparently used to be a working fire station with real firefighters in it, but that has since been abandoned.

WSJ reports that the firm overseeing the sale and the seller won't be offering tours because they know that it would be a shit show of fans and not real buyers. Compare the current photos to this throwback footage from 1993 of his theater and amusement park, and you'll see just how much the place has changed.
