Kim Kardashian’s Robert Cavalli dress was one of the highlights of the 2015 Met Gala; so much so that it inspired a dude to recreate the look with nothing more than a few craft supplies.
As shown in the image above, Canadian student Mina Gerges was able to duplicate the sheer getup using an old beige curtain, feathers, and a shit ton of paint. Just one look at the final product and you can tell he isn’t a novice. Gerges has a long history of reproducing celebrities’ iconic looks, including everyone from Rihanna to Nicki Minaj to Kylie Jenner.
But Mrs. West wasn't the only celeb who caught his eye on the Met Gala's red carpet. He also took to Instagram to share his take on the Givenchy dress Beyoncé wore—and all he used was a plastic bag, rhinestones, and glue. Say what you will about his hobby, but you can't deny that this dude is resourceful.
