When Khloe Kardashian broke the news that Kylie Jenner got temporary lip fillers earlier this month, the Internet reacted either completely unsurprised, or mad that so many girls harmed themselves doing the #KylieJennerChallenge. However, what's followed the revelation makes it easier to understand why the 17-year-old didn't want to open up about the personal details surrounding her lips.
Kim Kardashian opens up about her sister's lip procedure and the advice she gave her about it during an interview with Access Hollywood. "I saw how for so many years she was so insecure about it. I mean, at 10 years old, she would say to me, 'How come my lips aren't big like you guys'?" Kim says in the interview. "And I would see this insecurity… For me, I gave her advice and I still stand by that advice. I think it changed her confidence so much."
This follows Kylie's own admission on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that her lips are "just an insecurity [she] has." In the same episode, Khloe adds that the lip fillers "changed [Kylie's] life."
