It's tough to say whether it would be harder for me to go without Instagram or Twitter if I had to choose. The best thing about Instagram though is that each photo allows you to flex without any words, while Twitter requires you to elaborate. And because fashion and flexing go hand-in-hand, Instagram has clearly taken over the industry and Style Dot Com looked at just how insane the conversion has been. Considering the app is receiving a fucking CFDA award on Monday night, it only makes sense.

Since we're all inherent narcissists, fashion people are susceptible to sharing way too much shit on the 'Gram, like Zac Posen and Bryan Boy who have dropped more than 5,500 and 8,100 posts respectively. Meanwhile, rather than sending out a press release, brands have taken to the the social media platform to debut new announcements, which means we have no choice but to follow them in an effort to keep up with all the news even though only roughly 2% of posts are ones we're even interested in.

If you're looking for someone who really started it all, who else would it be but Kate fucking Moss, who closed Marc Jacobs' F/W 2011 Louis Vuitton show with cig in hand. That probably got a few photos on the network, but nothing compared to Kanye and Adidas' Yeezy Season 1 collection, which was the most viewed and most Instagrammed F/W 2015 show with Michael Kors and Balmain in the second and third spots respectively.

That's just a taste of how involved the two worlds are. Be sure to catch the entire list of fashion-related Instagram fodder.
