If you can believe this, sometimes brands get their F/W collection set before their S/S ones. That's what happened with Beautiful Fül this time around. But all is well in the world because Alejandro hooked it up and sent the lookbook through by morse code telegraph. It took a while, but it's finally here and goddamn is it fucking fire. BF continues to have an aesthetic all its own and it has only gotten stronger as the seasons have worn on. There's a dusty quality to this collection. Colors are mostly faded and pale, but the rich greens keep it saturated, and this is coming from a dude who is not a fan of green in the slightest. The deep-cut (but not deep V) shirts are perfecting for gallivanting in 80 degree weather and the drug rug-like hoodie takes me back to the days of smoking schwag in my friend's basement. BF's denim program, which is arguably the most underrated in the game, gets an updated cut that slims things down a bit even more and comes in three different washes: indigo, black and a destroyed overdyed black. It all reminds me of the desert, to be honest. To me, LA—where Beautiful Fül calls home—is really just this gorgeous, sandy wasteland of epic noir nothingness and I think this collection captures that feel. You know, Drake's safe house nights out in Calabasas. Fortunately for everyone involved, BF S/S 15 goes on sale tomorrow via the brand's website.
