If you live in a major metropolitan area, you probably have a Uniqlo. There are 39 of them in the U.S. and four in New York City alone for some reason. But, naturally, there are some untouched spreads of land across the more miserable parts of the U.S. that have gone this long without their own 'Qlo. Of course, there's always the online shopping experience, but it almost feels like shit sells out quicker there than it does IRL. Plus, why would you ever want to replace the experience of trotting into a huge warehouse of clothing with weird, video game techno music blaring through the speakers? You can't get that unless you crank the Chrono Trigger soundtrack while clicking "add to cart." Which is why the news that Uniqlo is working to expand further across the country comes as a reason for great celebration amongst many a broke boi.

Right now, three locations are on the books: Seattle, Denver and Tyson's Corner in Virginia, which would bring Uniqlo to a grand total of 10 metro areas. That's really not all that many, I guess, but it all comes as a phase in Uniqlo's larger plans to continue growing its footprint here in the States. The company also plans to add a new store in Boston, an enormous 60,000 sq ft store in Chicago and a new spot in Toronto, according to WWD. This comes hot on the heels of opening 18 stores around the world last year. Pretty soon, we'll all have our own personal Uniqlo. No complaints there.
