Are you a 20-something with a meager yearly salary that spends most of your money on clothes and is forced to use, like, paper plates and plastic forks for every meal? You probably are. But you probably still want your apartment to be minimal (aka empty because you can't afford any furniture) and clean (aka the cheapest real silverware and flatware available). I get that lifestyle. It's actually pretty dope. If you need basic hosuewares to balance out the inordinate amount of money you've spent on clothes, Muji should be your friend. And, just wait for it, because you're about to become best friends.
Racked reports that Muji is dropping prices on more than 650 different items in its U.S. stores. This isn't a "sale," guys. Nope, it's a permanent move. Around one in four items will have permanently reduced prices going forward. Everything from notebooks to clothing brushes will be reduced around 20-30%. The options are fucking endless. Hopefully, some clothes will be included as well because what could make one of their perfectly respectable pieces more attractive than another 20% off forever until the end of time?
This is apparently something that Muji does a lot in it's other stores, but this is the first instance of it happening in our great nation. It's a part of their philosophy that translates to "Always good prices." No seriously, that's the translation.
