Today, Variety held its "Power of Women: New York" event in honor of female celebrities who have done important philanthropic work. This year's honorees are Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Lena Dunham, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rachel Weisz, and Kim brought a little reminder of her husband Kanye West along to the event.
While live-tweeting the red carpet for the event, Cynthia Littleton of Variety posted a photo of the purse Kim was holding, which features an image of Kim and Kanye's wedding kiss with the words "Mr. & Mrs. West: A Love Story" above their heads. Littleton says the the purse was a gift from designer Olympia Le-Tan, whose book clutches have become very popular with celebrities including Katy Perry, Tilda Swinton, and Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian.
What do you get the couple that has everything? More of themselves, obviously. The purse can't really compete with the one that Kanye gave Kim, an Hermés bag handpainted by their daughter North West, but she clearly loves it enough to use it, and it is obviously one of a kind.
