Now that Philly-based retailer VILLA and Starter have paid respects to past NBA All-Star games, they turn their attention to the present with a whole new set of fresh jackets.
This year's All-Star game is in NYC and is being co-hosted by both of the city's teams, The New York Knicks and The Brooklyn Nets. The new jackets come in two colorways—blue and orange and black and grey—and pay tribute to the Knicks and Nets, respectively. Each is available in either wool or satin. The jackets feature the 2015 NBA All-Star game logo on the back and other assorted NBA-branded patches, including shout outs to the Western and Eastern conferences.
The jackets are available exclusively at Starter and VILLA's pop-up shop in Manhattan. The shop is VILLA's first retail space in New York City and features exclusive products from Starter's Black Label premium collection. VILLA is also offering limited-edition products, including its previous Big East-inspired jackets made with Starter and Timberland collabs, like the Sweet Potato and Emerald six-inch boots. The pop-up shop will also host special events, such as celebrity DJ parties and athlete appearances.
The Starter and Villa Clubhouse is open at the Paramount Hotel today through Feb. 15. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
