Amid all the pandemonium for Kanye's Yeezy Season 1, we almost forget that there's plenty of other great, young brands showing at New York Fashion Week. One of those to be watched is Pyer Moss, which showed its Fall/Winter 2015 collection with all the essentials you'll need to stay stylish this year.

Pyer Moss designer Kerby Jean-Raymond has said before that his background in womenswear encourages him to play and experiment with different fabrics. That ability shines through here as the collection utilizes dyed shearling, French terry, engineered stretch wool blends, black spacer fleece, leather, and viscose. And while the materials might be outside the norm, Jean-Raymond uses them masterfully to create a collection that delivers on staples. Leather shearling coats and overalls, biker jackets, elongated shirts, sweaters, hoodies, and bombers were the focus. The garments came in either black, or sharp, bold colors, like yellow and red.

The collection also featured a collaboration with Greats Brand on a pair of fashionable sneakers that each model walked in.

Pyer Moss recently made a statement by releasing a powerful Black Lives Matter T-shirt, and it makes another strong stamp on the fashion world with this latest collection. Scroll through the images below to check out the full range.
