I don't own anything from Prada, but my old roommate had this black Prada beanie with just a thin plastic insert that said "Prada" on it and sometimes I would wear it since he never did. It was pretty chill and it covered my head nicely, so Prada is officially cool in my book. The brand has been around for more than 100 years and feels like an old school fashion powerhouse, but it has embraced the power of technology and just posted up a huge chunk of its history online. Founded all the way back in 1913, Prada has as deep of a history as any brand, and while the new archive doesn't go back that far, it does reach back into the late '80s with runway photos, videos and ad campaigns for both men and womenswear.

Interestingly enough, Prada only got into menswear in the '90s and you can see every menswear collection from 1998 up to present in both video and photo form. It would be nice to see other brands do something similar so we don't have to poke around Google Images looking for photos that in all likelihood don't even exist. Peep Prada embracing the double zipper in the middle photo! That shit is from 1998! Good god golly gracious! This is most definitely for all you turbo fashion nerds out there who want to talk history with people who have only been aware of clothing for the past three years and want (read: need) to prove that you are superior. We get it.
