J.Crew unveiled its Fall/Winter 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week and proved why the mall brand has become beloved by menswear nerds everywhere over the past couple years.

The collection is inspired by a vintage army and navy show that J.Crew men's designer Frank Muytjens visited in the south of England. This inspiration comes out in the selection's textured fabrics and functional details, with nubby topcoats, shearling bombers, and quilted, padded nylon jackets. The collection also has a range of sweaters, cardigans, and shirts that rely more on interesting fabrics than loud designs. The crown jewel, though, according to Muytjens, is the oversized black jacket with a faux fur-lined hood.

Check out the full collection below and watch for the pieces to drop in stores later this year.
