Following the initial release of its Psych Rock collection, Saint Laurent has just released part two of its Spring/Summer 2015 offerings. The collection draws inspiration from the 1970s, and features a selection of street cast models sporting looks straight from the Disco Era.
The campaign is consistent with the throwback aesthetic that has become a bit of a signature of the house since Hedi Slimane joined as creative director. Although some question the authenticity of the rock-and-roll vibe, Saint Laurent is known for paying tribute to both the styles and music of days past. As a sonic complement to the images, Amsterdam-based Aleide composed a special song titled "123" for the Spring/Summer 2015 show, which can be heard on the Saint Laurent site.
Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2015 collection is available to shop now on its website, along with its Permanent Collection.
