Market Week Recap: Won Hundred Fall/Winter 2015

I really only know Won Hundred because Totokaelo stocks some of its gear. That's a pretty serious cosign if they're willing to drop Won Hundred in amongst racks filled with Dries Van Noten, Rick Owens and Margiela. And while Won Hundred doesn't necessarily hold the reputation or plaudits just yet of such legendary fashion names, the label has established a pretty good foundation to build upon. The brand has been around for 10 years and while it isn't necessarily, say, Our Legacy in size or scope, it has brought out some impressive pieces for F/W 15. The looks remind me a bit of Sandro with a variety of outerwear and a firm dedication to keeping everything pretty clean and minimal. Coats with no lapels, puffy outerwear with a thin, pliable layer of real leather on the exterior, basic sneakers, cropped macs and a solid denim program all make Won Hundred worth paying attention to, especially if you hadn't already. Even basics like hoodies are well-constructed and have impressive hardware. While everyone is doing mandarin collar long shirts, Won Hundred took the typically curved tails of a dress shirt and went with flat hems for a different layering possibility. F/W 15 offered a chance for the brand to blend lightweight technical fabrics with heftier ones and the result more than worth the mention here.
