It’s been a huge year for Hood By Air’s Shayne Oliver. He's been recognized as one of the top new kids on the block both nationally, as a nominee for the CFDA's Swarovski Award for Menswear, and internationally, as a runner-up for the inaugural LVMH Prize and as the special guest at Pitti Uomo 87. Now, he can add another accolade, after landing a spot in in the Retail and eCommerce category of Forbes' Top 30 Under 30 list.

The fourth annual 30 Under 30 roundup celebrates the brightest stars in 15 different fields including Retail, Design, Science, Sports and Marketing. Also joining Shayne in this category is 16-year-old Chase Reed, who made headlines for founding Harlem sneaker store Sneakerpawn.

Hood By Air is known for challenging conventions surrounding fashion by mixing urban elements with high-end tailoring and quality. The label started in 2006 and in its early days focused on T-shirts, before branching out to full collections. A few months ago, the label also launched an experimental website and online shop to support its growing popularity.
