When it comes to next-level garments, there’s no doubt the Japanese have their game on lock.

To prove this point, online retailer SSENSE has highlighted its inventory of Japanese-based brands in a short film titled “Japanese Menswear in Motion.”

Shot within a stark squash court, the video portrays male models battling it out in a competition of speed, endurance, and killer threads. Pieces from labels like Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, Visvim, Kolor, Yohji Yamamoto, Sasquatchfabrix, and Undercover are all presented in the two-minute film—providing a unique and highly contrasted portrait of the elaborate clothes.

Take a look at the “Japanese Menswear in Motion” film above. You can cop the featured items—ranging from collarless coats, wide-leg trousers, and biker jackets—at SSENSE's online store.
