Legendary writer, director, Knicks fan, and sneaker icon Spike Lee can add one more medium to his oeuvre: Backpack Designer.

Yes, Spike Lee's getting into the bag business. He's collaborated with backpack brand Sprayground to release a limited edition line (one of which includes Mars Blackmon's pixilated face) that culminates in a very, very limited-time-only pop-up shop opening on Friday, December 12th at the Fort Greene, Brooklyn headquarters of his production company, 40 Acres and a Mule

Our own Russ Bengtson recently set out to visit Spike in Brooklyn headquarters to learn about the collaboration, and what Spike's learned from his own children lately. Check out the video above for the interview, a preview of the bags, and more here from our sit-down with Spike Lee.
