When artists like Ludo, Meres One, and Fabrizio Moretti took over the rag&bone mural wall on Elizabeth Street, their artwork lasted for a month until the next artist stepped up to the plate. Rainer Judd's "Journals" project is a little different in that the artist has been periodically refreshing the piece, "opening" the journal so that people who pass by can see the wall change over the course of two months. "For me, journals are a place of dialogue with myself, a testing ground for ideas, a pal, a repository for the stuff of the highway of my heart," Judd told SEEN, also sharing that she has been keeping journals since she was 11. "This is a small window into a deep archive."
