Nowgone Pioneers makes this…thing. Clearly, they must make clothing for artists with garments like this. I always thought I wanted to marry an artist. I imagined she would wear smocks like this without any pants on and just, like, paint at the easel, always standing on her tiptoes. She'd be a really progressive painter, but her true love would be watercolor landscapes. We'd go on vacations to see the vistas painted by her favorite artists. I'd make stupid jokes about Toulouse-Lautrec and she'd paint that Prada store in Marfa or whatever and we'd live in New Mexico and just hang out in our adobe house with our dogs and jewelry maker friends. We'd have really amazing dinner parties in our courtyard and we'd always brine the turkey and use compound sage butter under the skin. We'd be better than you is basically what I'm tryna say here.
