There’s something happening in Pittsburgh. Call it a cultural renaissance or whatever else, but Andy Warhol’s hometown has steadily been gearing up for an art takeover, as evidenced by the number of up-and-coming artists who are flocking to the city for its large spaces and reasonable rents, and are staying for the close-knit arts community. A blue-collar city known more for its bridges and industrial steel than its creativity is currently going through an artistic transformation that could permanently change its cultural footprint—and we mean that in the best way possible.
