There is a Banksy piece that shows up every year around this time because of its subject matter, but this time it's bigger than ever in Atlanta.

According to ANIMAL, the image is of a 2005 painting that depicts Mary and Joseph unable to reach Bethlehem to birth the baby Jesus because of the Israeli/Gaza separation wall. The If Americans Knew organization plastered the image on a billboard in Atlanta to raise awareness here in the states of the Israel/Palestine conflict. "Though most Americans don’t know it, we are directly involved in Israel’s strangulation of Bethlehem," reads a post on the organization's website. Their Facebook page says that there are two other billboards planned for other locations across the country, and they launched a GoFundMe to raise money for additional billboards.

The organization is also selling postcards with the image on it, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence that Banksy supports their work or that he gave them permission to use his.
