Footwear giant Timberland is delivering a dose of nostalgia this month with the debut launch of its Hazel Highway collection.

Inspired by the Super Boot that was introduced in 1979, this throwback range is comprised of six silhouettes that each utilize the same materials and details found in the original shoe design. We’re talking iconic Timberland components, like bright-yellow laces, forrest green accents, lacing hardware, and tough Hazel Highway leather that nods the original Krymp Oxide leather used in 1979.

Though definitely cleaner and more contemporary, this limited-edition collection stays true to the highly durable craftsmanship that was so vital to withstand the harsh climates of Northeast America. To honor the men who wore the Super Boot in such conditions, Timberland presents a retro-inspired lookbook that documents a road trip down the I-95 Corridor from Boston to Baltimore.

Take a look at the shoot below, which was made in collaboration with creative studio KNOWUSE, designer and producer Frankie “EIKNARF” Colamarino, as well as stylists Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs of Street Etiquette.

If you like what you see, you can pick up the Hazel Highway collection at select independent retailers.
