Levi's has been in the business of perfecting the use of denim for over 100 years and, as such, has the knowledge and expertise to take things to the next level. Under its Levi's Made & Crafted line, the brand unveils its new Indigo capsule collection, which takes its familiar denim pieces and updates them by applying indigo dye in unique methods.
The Indigo Collection takes classic pieces, like denim shirts, trucker jackets, jeans, and even a bomber and suit jacket and reinvents them with new, bold patterns achieved by the use of indigo. The Northwest’s rocky terrain inspires many of the patterns, like the laser cut mountain pattern on a denim shirt, or the frenetic electric blue pattern that resembles the territory’s peaks and valleys.
Both the Levi’s Made & Crafted Tumblr page and Fall/Winter 2014 collection are split into three chapters: Silver Linings, Fire on the Mountain, and Hands On.
