Jeremy Scott’s aesthetic can be described in many words, none of which are subtle.
For the second release of his Fall/Winter 2014 adidas Originals collaboration, the eccentric American designer presented his signature bold style across a range of staple sportswear pieces.
Drawing inspiration from bizarre sources, like bondage, hip-hop, and classical music, the upcoming range features a random mix of materials and motifs. Leather, sequins, netting, and mesh are used among playful patterns such as loud typography and animal prints. Much like his previous collaborations with adidas Originals, this range is more focused on style than performance as tracksuits, sweats, sneakers, and jerseys are reinterpreted with oversized fits, ornate detailing, and impractical—but very cool—textiles.
