Miley Cyrus has already taken the art and fashion worlds by storm with her "Dirty Hippie" exhibition, which includes a bejeweled bong and candy-colored plastic tchotchkies. Now the pop star is expanding her artistic talents into tattoo design.
As part of a charity event to raise money for My Friend's Place, an organization that supports homeless youth in L.A., Miley is holding a contest with prizes that include a hoodie, a voicemail from the singer, and a tattoo she designed. The final prize comes at a hefty sum—a $10,000 donation to the charity.
Miley previously raised awareness about My Friend's Place when she brought a homeless man who she met throught the organization to the 2014 MTV VMAs as her date. The charitable act backfired however, when it was discovered that Miley's date had a troubled legal history. Surprisingly, tattoo design seems like a much safeer way to get involved.
While many Miley-crazed fans are probably willing to shell out the dough for a tattoo designed by the singer, the pop star's own ink choices call into question her skills as a designer. In the past, Miley got a crying kitten emoji inked on the inside of her lip and an image of a dog saying "With a little help from my fwends" on her ribcage.
Not only a designer, Miley has also tattoed someone before. This time at least, she won't be the one behind the needle.
