After 15 years of trading in the UK, Carhartt are finally opening a Carhartt WIP store in Bristol, a city long associated with British Hip-Hop and drum 'n' bass. The new store has been designed by Italian architect Andrea Caputo, who has designed several stores for Carhartt WIP before, including the recent refurb of the Earlham Street store in London, and will carry both men and womens collections, as well as the latest collaborations.
In celebration of the store's opening, Carhartt WIP pals and long-time collaborators, NTS Radio, will be providing the music for the launch party this evening, from 7pm to 9pm, at the new store which can be found at 12-14 Park Street.
To mark the store's opening, Carhartt WIP have produced a limited edition T-shirt. The design is a play on the cover art of Massive Attack's seminal Blue Lines album, paying homage to Bristol's major role in the development of UK music.
