Denmark-based lifestyle brand Wood Wood has produced an upcoming autumn/winter collection inspired by modern and historical heroes. Based on the image of heroism depicted in the 1961 film The Guns of Navarone, the line pulls from the DIY sensibility and uniforms of past resistance movements. It also incorporates figures like Karen Blixen, Tupac Shakur, Jacques Cousteau, and Fausto Coppi in a print that features hand-drawn portraits of these historical icons.

There are no capes, masks, or utility belts in the Heroes collection, but it does consist of a variety of dope items for both men and women. The outerwear selection is definitely one of the line's many highlights. Each of the bubble jackets, toggle peacoats, and bombers will keep you warm and stylish as the cold weather rolls in. In addition to outerwear, there are also plenty of cozy joggers, crewnecks, button-downs, and beanies.

The lookbook was mostly shot at the climbing center Blocs & Walls in Copenhagen, where the brand debuted the collection earlier this year. Items from the full collection will be pre-released via the Wood Wood webstore on Aug 4 and at select retailers shortly after.
