One hairdresser has set out on a mission to give 1,000 haircuts to people all across the world. Jun Kuwabara of Yamanashi, Japan embarked on this journey in April, traveling with just a backpack, guitar, and his trusty tools. Thanks to Instagram and Kuwabara's personal blog, the world can keep up with his epic trip.

"I wanted to engage in something significant while I traveled," Kuwabara said when he was featured on Instagram's blog. "The only thing I can do is cut hair, so I thought I'd work on an idea of cutting 1,000 people."

Each of his filtered photos tells a story, and according to the comments, people are begging him to come to their country. In just four months, the traveling hairdresser has trekked through Southeast Asia, giving countless cuts to orphans, elderly people, babies, tourists, and anyone else willing to let him lower their ears. As of last weekend, Kuwabara had given over 200 haircuts, and he even trimmed someone's eyebrows just a few days ago.
