We're a bit late on the Saturdays F/W 14, but the collection just went live on the website today for your purchasing pleasure, so we're dropping the lookbook up top to quench the collective thirst for well-styled lookbooks. As usual, Saturdays came through with some respectful, tasteful garments that won't scare your mom when you head home for the holidays. In my mind, Saturdays is sort of the small-scale J. Crew of #menswear. Like, it's for those of your who are afraid to actually tell people you shop at J. Crew, yet still want to look put together in a kinda basic way without going broke. And that ain't a bad thing at all, ya dig? When someone asks you if you got your sweater at J. Crew, you can just go with, "Or nah. I #actually copped this shit from Saturdays" and immediately your dubious credibility will go up a smidge. Straight up, that's a serious compliment to Saturdays. Yes, a small New York coffee shop/surf/clothing brand just got compared to one of the largest, most dominant retailers in the world. You can't buy press like this, guys. You're welcome.
Okay, on the real though, this collection may not satisfy your need for drop crotches or ten thousand pockets aka today-right-now-this-very-fucking-second's internet-focused fashion taste. But there are some low-key bangers in here. The smartest thing Saturdays ever did was offer, like, half of an entire season's worth of clothing in black.
