Canada's Reigning Champ is a cozy boy favorite, but its recent "Core Program" collection proves that it's all about training as well. Perhaps this is why the label has expanded on its fall/winter collection with nylon training gear.
The "Core Program" lookbook has a serious "Rocky" vibe, shot entirely within the confines of a boxing gym, following a boxer's workout regimen. The new gear, a knee-length nylon short and M-65-style nylon zip-up, seem more suited for a 10 mile run than 10 rounds in the ring. Reigning Champ's motto is "Respect the details. Master simplicity." With waterproof sealed seams, several pockets on the shorts, and a stowaway hood on the track jacket, it seems that the label hasn't forgotten its roots.
