What began as a week-long event in Hawaii has grown into a multi-faceted street art entity. More than a seven-day celebration of street art, POW! WOW! Hawaii now functions as a “global network of artists and organizes gallery shows, lecture series, schools for art and music, mural projects, large creative co-working spaces, concerts, and live art installations across the globe.” POW! WOW!’s reach is ever-growing, with its latest milestone being the POW! WOW! Artist Series.
Husband and wife duo Scien and Klor of 123Klan are the first artists featured in the POW! WOW! Artist Series. The artists' experiences in Hawaii during POW! WOW! serve as the backdrop for the collection. The limited edition capsule collection was also inspired by the mid-'90s work of Neville Brody, spray can motifs, and "Aloha," consisting of a give-panel hat, iPhone case, and a T-shirt.
