Remember that “Dinner Party" episode of Seinfeld, when George wore that amazing puffy coat, and he couldn't stop raving to everyone about how it was "Gore-Tex"? Well, if Seinfeld took place today, we’re pretty sure that George would have relished the latest project from Japanese retailer Beams, who recently teamed up with Porter and Rocky Mountain Featherbed to create a capsule collection that includes a jacket that—to Seinfeld fans, at leastis reminiscent of Costanza's infamous coat. In addition to the jacket, the collection includes laptop bags, backpacks and helmet bags, all to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Porter’s Tanker luggage series.

As one of the early adopters of Gore-Tex, Rocky Mountain Featherbed lent their signature leather-paneled yokes, while Porter added bright orange lining (as seen previously on their Tanker series). The collection was inspired by the always-classic MA-1 flight jacket, which is evident in the army green, black, and orange color palette used for the collection. Other notable detailing includes the shearling collar, which is the kind of touch that contributes heavily to what makes this collection such an obvious cold-weather cop. You can pick the entire collection up in full right now at Beams Harajuku flagship store in Tokyo, and while it’s not online yet, keep an eye out on eBay or wherever else you pick up your rare Japanese collaboration finds.
