UK street artist JPS is making his mark on the urban landscape. JPS’s pop culture works are painted on walls worldwide, and he puts a twist on his sketches by accompanying each with a clever pun. JPS’ remarkably detailed stencil images of iconic comic book and movie characters include Ted, Batman, Spiderman, and even Freddie Kruger.

JPS' work might remind you of Banksy, and although he was inspired by the famed satirical graffiti artist, he is making a name for himself all on his own. In an interview with Street Artist United States the artist said, “Banksy’s Museum Show inspired me massively, although I like to think my ideas are very different to that of Banksy’s. I guess a standard education didn’t leave me with much political interest.” We still enjoy his pop culture puns all the same.
