MIDNIGHT is making huge moves.
Following an impressive debut earlier this year, the Los Angeles-based brand has gained a considerate amount of hype within the world of streetwear, including co-signs from Ian Conner and Taylor Gang boss Wiz Khalifa.
Tonight, the company hopes to continue that momentum with the release of its Fall/Winter 2014 collection during a launch event, from 7 p.m to 9 p.m., at 424 Fairfax.
Preserving the monochromatic blueprint of its inaugural release, the upcoming collection appears to be a little more refined and battle-tested. The use of black-and-white photos and heavy text placement are still very much present, but it’s clear founder Shane Gonzales has sharpened his rebellious aesthetic through the use of bold accents that avoid coming off too contrived.
