It's no secret that J.Crew found the solution suiting up guys with its tailored Ludlow suit. Due to demand for something more however, J.Crew has recently unveiled a new addition to their lineup, the Crosby suit.

J.Crew's Ludlow suit is known for providing a combination of slim-fitting design at a reasonable price. However, the company was also bombarded with requests to create a relaxed, roomier option for those who wanted something different from the tailored Ludlow offering.

Menswear director Frank Muytjens said, “When I get a chance, I go to events in the stores and help some guys find a suit. Most of the guys I helped fit the Ludlow really well, but some who were a little bigger had trouble, especially in the shoulder and the upper arm."

Noting the requests he received from customers and clients, he and his team crafted the athletic-cut Crosby suit. To best showcase their new design, the brand enlisted the help of the New York Knights, the city's representative in the American National Rugby League. The choice of models comes from within the company, as one of the employees happened to be on the team.

The suit boasts more room in the shoulders and chest, but still follows the designs and aesthetics of its brother, the Ludlow jacket. Additional features include a hand-sewn collar and wider lapels. The suit's trousers have also been widened for comfort.

Muytjens simply stated, "It's for the guy who goes to the gym."

The suit releases this upcoming week, so look out for it at your local J.Crew or the brand's online shop.
