The Culture Now season at London's ICA, will be playing host to one Gosha Rubchinskiy, the Russian menswear designer, and the smarter fashion guy's street-inspired go to. Also an awesome photographer known for documenting Moscow's youth, he will be in conversation with Marfa Journal's Alexandra Gordienko, discussing his collections, photography, and filmmaking.

Inspired by youth and skate culture, Rubchinskiy describes his collections as being for “a new generation of post-Soviet youngsters.” He references Russian religion and patriotism, and his childhood influences, in a Russia experiencing political, economic, and cultural change, as the USSR was dissolved.

Rubchinskiy is of course a big deal, having his collections produced by Comme des Garçons since 2012, and directing a film and editorial for Supreme's Fall/Winter '13 campaign.

The talk will be held Friday night, with tickets available here. See Fall/Winter 2014 below.
