Brooklyn-based artist Matt Reilly recently combined two of our favorite things for his Wall Ride performance at Mana Contemporary: skateboarding and art. Reilly built a mini-ramp during Mana Exposition and lined it with a white canvas. The artist then rigged his skateboard with paint-soaked sponges and skated back and forth across the ramp, leaving a rainbow of color that would be impossible to recreate.

The canvas, skateboard, and ramp are all listed for sale on Artsy, but you have to inquire for prices. Seeing the canvas on it's own is cool, but the footage and photos of Reilly creating the piece make it so much better. The performance reminds us of UK artist D*Face's Ridiculous Pool Paint Attack from a few years ago (check our interview with him here). Watch as multiple skaters have a field day on boards with remote controlled spray paint rigs between the trucks.
