Zach Thompson, aka vizualzmt, is a 21-year-old freelance artist based in a suburb just outside of Detroit. Thompson's vibrant illustrations of rappers, cultural icons, and urban scenes are filled with energy. His dynamic images are both playful and demonstrate his serious skill. Thompson has depicted the likes of Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, Tyler, The Creator, and others in his unforgettable style.

According to the artist's bio, Thompson "tries to create art that people can relate to, laugh at, and indulge in." We got in tough with Thompson, who explained the inspiration behind much of his work.
