Nick Knight’s love for the Internet is no doubt a catalyst for epic artistry that is both relevant and trippy.
In celebration of the recentKTZ x Been Trill collaboration, Knight has teamed up with SHOWstudio for The Deep Web fashion editorial that addresses the “the links between the limitless possibilities of the unconscious mind and the deep web.”
Referencing patterns and graphics from the collection’s Tibet Monster and Patched T-shirts, the psychedelic film is mix of music, fine art, and fashion delivered in chaotic bursts and dimensions.
Knight explained that his intention was to illustrate the internet’s complexity by creating a sense of “things within things and layers within layers,” providing a nod to the intricate navigation that leads to the deep web.
Featuring model Betty Adewole and BLADEE and ECCO2K of GRAVITY BOYS, the editorial film is one of many of Knight's projects that is propelled by the visual language of the Internet and streetwear influences.
