Finding himself behind on his brother’s wedding (and birthday) present, an Ohio student, known only to the world as buckeyeguy89, put his creative hat on and built an absolutely fantastic clock. This birthday world clock not only tells time, but also wishes his brother and his new wife happy birthday and happy anniversary. To build this magnificent contraption, buckeyeguy89 scoured the Internet for an old clock with a transparent back, pushbuttons that skip in hour and minute increments, a DS3231 RTC, and two Arduino microcontrollers. For the clock's face, he procured a piece of birch plywood and used laser cutting technology to etch out the necessary lettering. Assembling the contraption took several months, but the finished product was well worth the toil.
