Saint Laurent has one speed. And that speed is rock and roll.

Since 1971, when Saint Laurent dressed Mick and Bianca Jagger for their wedding in St. Tropez, the French fashion house has had a close relationship to rock and roll.

More than 40 years later, the brand’s creative director Hedi Slimane continues to preserve that quality through the Saint Laurent Music Project, which has featured artists including Daft Punk, Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, and BB King.

This year, the campaign will highlight Temples' frontman/lead guitarist James Edward Bagshaw. Photographed by Slimane earlier this year, the vintage-inspired photos evoke the rock and roll era circa early 1970s.  Take a look at the photos, and be sure to check out additional images of Bagshaw in Slimane's upcoming book titled Sonic.
